Aaron Rodgers’ Press Conference Is Not a Big Deal, Guys.
Aaron Rodgers is meeting with the media at 2:00 pm this afternoon. This will be the first time that Rodgers speaks publicly after the Packers drafted Jordan Love. People are overreacting to this. Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk is treating this like a sporting event in its own right. Sure, people are going to tweet out quotes, but that’s what the media does for everyone. Obviously, I’m curious what Rodgers has to say today about not just Love but also this offseason, what does he think about playing next season with potentially empty fans. The reaction to this call will annoy me though.
Packers QB Aaron Rodgers will speak to local media via conference call tomorrow at 2 p.m. central. First time we'll hear from since the draft. https://t.co/PpWKEm0iBY

Rodgers will probably not give any nuggets about Love. I’m sure everyone he says will be nice and Rodgers will make it a point to be a mentor for Love. Still, there will be NFL content creators that look for a crack of disagreement with something. People are going to try very hard to twist Rodgers’ words. It sucks for him honestly. All he is doing is a usual press conference, and people cannot go a minute without twisting Rodgers’ words. For those who think this is uncommon, it is not. Rodgers tends to speak with the media around this time every year. I would not be surprised if he pays Wilde and Tausch a visit next week too.
