Aaron Rodgers Wants to Play in London
Green Bay Packers are the last team to not play in London. If the franchise quarterback has anything to say about, he wants the team to head overseas sometime soon. Rodgers had an interview on NFL Honors with the NFL UK, and he talked about his desire to go play in London. This might make the NFL a little uncomfortable considering the Packers are the last team left, and Rodgers is one of the most notable players in the National Football League. We’ll see if the Packers head overseas in 2020, and like we’ve talked about, it’s a near impossible task.

This is such a great interview. Like I know it’s 90 seconds, but Rodgers basically lays out why it hasn’t happened for the Packers. Then adds how this team would want to be there all week to immerse themselves in London culture and spoke about all of the Packers bars all over Europe. I went to London last year, and I can tell you it’s an impossible city to get through in a few days. And he’s right, it takes a few days to get on-board with the sleep schedule. It would be wild to wake up around 7 or 8 am in London, and it’s overnight back home.
Next year, they have a 2020 road game in Tampa. The gate is huge there, and it’s basically a road game for the Buccaneers. So I almost wonder if the NFL might kick in some sort of incentive for Tampa Bay to play the Packers in London.
PS: 8:30 Packers game would be a guarantee shitshow all over the state of Wisconsin. Everyone would be drunk by 11:00 am.
