Allen Lazard Flexes on Lonnie Johnson After TD Catch
Green Bay Packers beat the Houston Texans, 28-26, in the first preseason game of the year. Not many people played in said preseason game, but there were some learnings to take away from it. There’s nothing to overreact about but there was a cool moment in the second half. Tim Boyle threw a rocket down the middle of the field to Allen Lazard who leaped up and grabbed it out of the air. He proceeded to flex right on Lonnie Johnson, who did the same thing to Jace Sternberger, earlier this week. It was a great catch and cool that the Packers were able to show up Johnson on the football field.

I may have said this before, but I’ll say it again, I fucking love that Kevin Harlan is our preseason announcer. Obviously, he has ties to Green Bay with his father and family, but it’s awesome to hear Kevin dial it up. He is one of my favorite broadcasters, and the fact he gets fired up for preseason game like it’s a Thursday night showdown in the NBA is awesome. I don’t think the Packers are going to have a roster spot for Lazard, but he has a helluva body for a wide receiver. That catch is not made by many receivers.
