An A+ Troll Job on Brewers’ JumboTron Yesterday
Last week, Mitch Ross, my podcast co-host, and I talked about how the Milwaukee Brewers had graduated from being the ‘little brother’ of the Chicago Cubs. In the sense that, trolling on the internet needed to be done in a way that seems like the Crew was punching up. They had a good one on Sunday with their JumboTron. Like the Milwaukee Bucks do in winter, Brewers video department came up a great one on Sunday afternoon as they caught a Cubs fan staring down at his phone.

At what point, do you stop wearing jerseys as an adult? I have a few, but I cannot remember the last time I dusted one off to wear in the stadium. I feel like it needs to be a special occasion that warrants an appearance with me in a jersey. I’m very glad I held on to the Corey Hart jersey I have because now with him retired, it is a retro fit versus looking weird that the guy isn’t on the team (Shouts to the dudes rocking the Lucroy jerseys, weirdos). Curious to know what player was on the back of his jersey? My hope is that was Rod Beck, a legend of our time.
Cubs fans have to be slightly concerned with the state of the division. Through 10 games, Chicago is 5.5 back trailing St. Louis and Pittsburgh before they even sniff Milwaukee.
