Astros-Dodgers World Series Goes The Distance

We are lucky as sports humans. We get a Game 7 in baseball tonight. It’s one of the most exciting things you can have honestly especially in the World Series. In three of the last four World Series, there has been a Game 7. The first two were thrilling games, and this one figures to be an absolute doozy. All hands on deck, last game of the year and no one is holding anything back. This series has been one for the ages, and the question is can Game 7 live up to the hype of the last six?
The storylines are overflowing for tonight’s game. It starts with Clayton Kershaw who is ready to pitch the entire game it sounds like which is the first of many major storylines. Kershaw getting his Game 5 redemption in the most meaningful game of his life would be pretty special. Will the Astros bat wake up for a last time in this World Series? Other than a George Springer home run, their bats were dead in Game 6. They’re going to need a revival from Springer, Jose Altuve, Alex Bregman and Carlos Correa. Who is going to be the ‘David Ross’ of the night? An unknown that has a big moment in Game 7. It always seems to happen.
It’s going to be tough to watch what we saw with Cubs-Indians last season, but you know the Astros-Dodgers will try to match it. They’ve had reality television show-like drama so far, and Game 7 promises to not be any different. I’m taking the Astros tonight. Dodgers struggled with Lance McCullers’ curveball last time around, so I see him going longer than expected tonight with the opposite happening to Yu Darvish. I think Astros jump all over again, and they push a lead out that they’re able to hold to until the bitter end.
