Badgers Football Wins Big at Super Bowl
Wisconsin Badgers football coaching staff will be getting the game tapes of Super Bowl 52. From there, they’ll cut up all of the different moments both James White and Corey Clement had in this game for their teams respectively. White won Super Bowl MVP last season, and this year, he could have made an interesting case for e repeat as the most valuable player had New England own. Clement busted out with his best game of the playoffs and helped propel Philadelphia to victory. This is what Paul Chryst should move going forward whenever he’s trying to pitch any young talent.
Clement ended up undrafted then signed by the Eagles last season. He never really caught the ball out of the backfield, but when Wendell Smallwood, Darren Sproles go down, he stepped up for the team. Clement became a part of a three-headed monster featuring LaGarrette Blount, Jay Ayaji along with the former Badgers superstar. He received his moment to shine with four catches for 100 yards and a touchdown along with a few carries on the ground. He proved to be a vital part of the Philadelphia offense as Nick Foles looked his way a few times.
As for White, it is in a losing effort, but it’s good to see him have another solid Super Bowl. He rushed the ball for 45 yards on seven carries including a touchdown then he had a couple catches too. Although, Malcolm Jenkins did a terrific job taking away the underneath route making White somewhat obsolete in the passing game. He still had a productive day amid the defeat.
The Super Bowl is one where Badgers football fans can remember fondly. This is a great look for the program, and they continue to show through to the next level which is only going to help bring in big recruits.
