Brandon Woodruff: Bearded to Baby Faced
Nothing is weirder than one of your buddies’ shaving off their face after having a long time beard. It is even more weird when they also have long hair. If they come out with short hair and clean shaven face, it’s like they’re a completely different person. Take Milwaukee Brewers pitchers Brandon Woodruff as an example. He had a crazy long red beard that he shaved off completely and now looks like he might get ID’d at Jack’s after a game. Woody hopefully still has his edge without his beard.

It’s definitely a change for Woodruff who will be out of the bullpen with the imminent return of Zach Davies to the Brewers rotation. As someone who keeps something on their face, I would recommend a little bit of scruff for Woody. No need for the big ass red beard like you’re a goddamn pirate or part of some motorcycle gang. Unless you’re in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, beard maintenance is very important and needed at all times. You can’t have the thing going on your face out of control like you’re some type of vagabond.
