Brewers’ First-Round Draft Pick & Girlfriend Form a Baseball Power Couple

Milwaukee Brewers’ first-round draft pick Garrett Mitchell (More to come on him later today) is a centerfielder from UCLA. All signs point to the pick being a good one for the Crew as they try and rebuild their farm system with a limited draft. Mitchell is one part of his baseball couple. His girlfriend is Haley Cruse, an outfielder for the Oregon Ducks softball team. Cruse was a second-team All-American in her shortened senior season. It appeared that she was headed for great things. Together, they form a power couple. They have been quarantining together during COVID-19 and have some videos to show from it.

Mitchell seems to be a dance extraordinaire. Good thing that we aren’t doing baseball right now or Brian Anderson would have likely roasted him on-air for his moves. They also seem very happy and healthy as a couple. It is unknown if Haley will be following Garrett on the road around the minor leagues. Long-distance has to be tough for the young couple, but at least for the rest of this summer, he will likely remain at home base or the Brewers’ facility in Arizona.
