Brewers New Ad Sends Me Through a Brick Wall
With the Super Bowl ending, it means a couple things – 1. It’s basketball season officially starting tonight and 2. baseball season is not far away. I don’t get fired up about pitchers and catchers reporting in like 10 days (Someone should probably sign Bryce Harper and Manny Machado, just a thought). But this season for the Milwaukee Brewers is unlike one we’ve seen in awhile. This is arguably the most fired up the fanbase has been in my lifetime. After 2008, Brewers needed a new manager, so expectations were unknown. After 2011, Milwaukee lost Prince Fielder to free agency. This year, everyone comes back including the National League MVP. People have reasons to be excited. Brewers marketing department is feeding into that with their new campaign.

This is how you keep that excitement for fans. The season is in 52 days, and it was ironically 53 days on the day of the Super Bowl. Much will be made about this team, and people will have expectations through the roof. It’s going to be a long season, and not everything will be rainbows for this squad. Baseball is a long fucking season. But it’s good to see the Brewers marketing department is adding a bravado with the way they’re talking about the season. That makes fans more confident in the season ahead.
It should be a fun one and cannot wait for the season to get underway.
