Bucks Buzz: Orlando Blows Out Ice Cold Bucks
One could say that Milwaukee was due for a clunker. Think of their last couple of weeks from a travel perspective – Bucks went to five different cities in 10 days then they came home for a game versus Washington then back out to Dallas and then home again. Bucks played three games in four nights. It was evident that Milwaukee’s legs didn’t come back with them from Dallas. As Giannis Antetokounmpo didn’t play, it felt like the rest of the team joined him. Milwaukee could not hit a shot to save their souls on Saturday night. Bucks shot 32 percent from the field and 17 percent from deep.
Player of the Game: Terrence Ross – Like any time the Magic beat the Bucks, Terrence Ross finds himself involved. He is a straight Bucks killer and in the starting lineup without question. Ross had 15 points including some big shots in the second quarter that helped propel Orlando past Milwaukee. Ross seems to always get his shots up versus Milwaukee. One of the many odd names that carries that kind of title.
Silver Star: Nikola Vucevic – Milwaukee has done a good job for the most part slowing down big men with the addition of Brook Lopez on defense. One guy who owned Lopez this year has been Vucevic. He had 15 points with 17 rebounds dominating the paint as he has done in the other matchups with Milwaukee. Good thing Vuc is not on a contender in the Eastern Conference, or this might be an issue for the Bucks.
Positive: The 8-0 run to start the game was cool, I guess – I have nothing for you. This is one of those games where we just forget it happened and moved on with our lives. They scored the lowest amount of points this season with 83. 20 was the largest margin they’ve been beat by this season as well.
Negative: No offense without Giannis – Bucks do need to figure out how they can score without Giannis every now and again. Khris Middleton missed 13 shots. Malcolm Brogdon missed 14 shots. Lopez missed eight. The only player that had a bit of success was Eric Bledsoe who had a double-double. But this thing was fucking messy for Milwaukee.
Highlight of the Day: Lopez blocks the living shit out of Aaron Gordon

Next up: Bucks are headed to Chicago to play the Bulls on the road for the first time this season. Milwaukee beat Chicago twice at home this year. Both games were weird. Game 1, Chicago had a 20 point lead and saw it flipped on them. Game 2, the game went right down to the wire. Bulls haven’t won much, but they’re pretty scrappy of late. This will not be an easy one for Milwaukee.
