Bucks Look To Keep Their Winning Streak Alive
Like the talented blogger I am, I’m trying something new here on SnotapWI. Now and again, we miss Bucks’ recaps. Why? Well, sometimes, I went too hard in the paint the night prior and didn’t have time for a recap. Other times, it is a national holiday where you know no one is reading your shit. How this is going to work is we’re going to look at what happened on Wednesday then look ahead to what is happening this weekend.
WEDNESDAY: Bucks 111 Atlanta 102 – Weird game honestly. I ended up heading to the Fiserv Forum for this game. Atlanta hung around in large part to Jabari Parker’s major fuck you game. Giannis scored 30 points and added 10 rebounds to keep his double-double streak alive. What’s interesting to me is how many Bucks players ended up in double figures. Khris Middleton came back off the bench and played 20 minutes. He scored 16 points. Brook Lopez started to find his stroke from three nailing three of them early on in this game.
WHAT TO WATCH THIS WEEKEND
Friday – Milwaukee heads to Cleveland: Bucks are taking on the Cavaliers at the right time. Cleveland started halfway decent this year and they’ve careened off a cliff. Kevin Love is dealing with a bulky back. Cavaliers lost eight of their last nine games with the Bucks on a nine-game winning streak. This is all about taking care of business, and if possible, Giannis playing 28 minutes or so, would be great.
Saturday – Milwaukee reveals their Cream City kits against Charlotte: The biggest news of the Bucks-Hornets game this weekend is they’re wearing their new Cream City uniforms. Those uniforms are wildly popular. I could not believe how many people were wearing Cream City jerseys and gear at Fiserv on Wednesday night. As for the game, Charlotte will also be coming off a back-to-back as they’re playing Detroit on Friday. One thing with the Hornets is they love to shoot the three, and sometimes, it goes in and they’re in a game until the very end. Charlotte hasn’t done well versus good teams this season.
