Christian and Scooby Will Be This Generation’s Red Panda
I ended up at Butler-Marquette yesterday afternoon. I had a great time and enjoyed pretending I went to school there. Usually, I do not stay in my seats for halftime. Like most people, the idea of stretching the legs is nice and typically, I grab another beverage for the second half. But my girlfriend, who I attended the game with, did not leave her seats, therefore, I broke my usual routine. But that was great because the halftime show introduced to me to the next best halftime performers – Christian and his dog Scooby. I’m telling you right now he blows Red Panda out of the water. This is from a performance at an Arizona game, but the moves are mostly the same.
Here’s why this works, it is a combination of the dog and his overall talent. Watching this guy show off more core strength than I have in two bodies is fucking impressive. Then you add a cute dog to the mix, and the crowd creams themselves. Seriously, the cheers that Christian and Scooby got at halftime were loud for a halftime show. I cannot believe this is the first time I’ve heard of this duo. Apparently, they’ve been a Marquette performer before, but it shows you how a dog can bring the cheers every time.
Also, a note on Red Panda, she is washed beyond belief. We all know that she needs to retire. It became a trendy sports thing to like Red Panda but man, she stinks these days.
