Crabtree Tapes Chain & Still Gets Snatched
We all saw the fight between Michael Crabtree and Aqib Talib on Sunday afternoon. The two renewed their fight from January where Talib snatched Crabtree’s chain from him in one of the funnier moments of the NFL season. It happened again on Sunday. We come to find out that the Raiders wideout taped it to his body, and it still got taken away from him. That’s amazing. This little dust-up earned Crabtree and Talib two games which hurts the Raiders much worse than Denver.
Let’s first talk about the chain getting taken from him again even with it taped up… How the fuck do you admit that? Like I wouldn’t tell a soul. I would make up some story about how this isn’t my real gameday chain, and I knew Talib would come after it, so, that’s why I did it. Crabtree admitting he taped it up prior to the game means he knew it could happen and it did early on.
Both players were suspended for two games. To me, this is the NFL sending a message that they do not want anymore shenanigans with these two players. They’re done playing for the year, but you know it will be talked about next year if both are still on their respective teams. This hurts Oakland as they have an outside shot at the playoffs (Brutal schedule though). For Denver, the hits keep coming looking like one of the worst teams in football. They might win only one or two games more for the rest of the season. They’re Grade-A bad.
NFL needs more fights. We always come together after a good scuffle especially when it involves a chain snatch.
