Cry Me a River, Canada! Let U.S. Soccer Celebrate.
There is a term ‘They hate us because they ain’t us.’ Barstool Sports has a shirt for New England Patriots fans has that as its direct saying. Truth be told, I’m jealous of the shirt. They really should make one for the United States Women’s Soccer. The squad is back in action, and they welcomed themselves to the 2019 Women’s World Cup with a bang. Alex Morgan scored five goals, Rose Lavelle, former Wisconsin standout, had two in her debut as well. But the big story was the anger Canada’s broadcast team showed towards the Americans. The video was taken down, so, I found some Canadian tweets instead.
Am i missing something? US Womens soccer is pumping Thailand 9-0 in Womens World Cup but still celebrating every goal with slides on the field, big team hugs. It’s pretty embarrassing.

I understand running up the score for goal differential reasons, but this continual celebrating from the US women's soccer team is utterly embarrassing and classless. You've been there before. Act like it. Disgraceful.

Every single one of them is Canadian. To walk down memory lane a little bit, the U.S. Women and Canadian Women hate each other’s, soccer teams. The U.S. won on their home soil in 2015, but where this really started was in 2012 when the United States beat them in the semifinals of the Olympics. Canada believes they were robbed of a chance at gold. This Canadian team has more questions than answers this season, so, who knows if they’ll see each other in the World Cup but my guess is the U.S. Women will show no mercy.
