Devin White Wants The Smoke From Aaron Rodgers
Most NFL players know better. They know not to poke the bear, that is Aaron Rodgers. It is not something that anyone advises you to do. The last thing Rodgers needs is a chip on his shoulder heading into the week. Tampa Bay Bucaneeers linebacker did not know this. Rather he decided to tell the media that White requested to be part of the defensive game plan, and they’re going to be aggressive towards Rodgers. This is a dumb, dumb move by White. When I saw this tweet, I immediately shook my head and thought ‘You have no idea what you just did.’
Devin White said his request to Todd Bowles this week: "Unleash me." Wants to be part of an aggressive defensive plan against Packers and Aaron Rodgers.

White is a good player, but Rodgers is a great player. That is the difference between these two guys. White thinks that this will motivate him to have a big game, and while it might, guess who it also motivates, the bad man at quarterback. The bad man who has not put up with any shit all season. The one is who is, as the kids say, dropping dimes and suck it signs all season long. Rodgers is a force to reckon with. White didn’t get the memo that Rodgers is a different player this season.
All in all, this is great for the lead-up to Packers-Bucaneeers. This game did not lack juice at all with the Aaron Rodgers-Tom Brady showdown looming, but this is a nice added element to the mix. This quote, the FOX broadcast will definitely read in the first couple of plays. Let’s hope it’s before Rodgers puts six on the board though.
