Get Your Beers Ready For Brewers’ Virtual Happy Hour

Milwaukee Brewers decided to do something fun during these quarantine times. They are hosting a virtual happy hour hosted by Miller Lite on Thursday evening. Brewers are capping the guest list at 1,000 people. Brian Anderson will be the host of this shindig. They’re also will be David Stearns, Brewers general manager. Legend Robin Yount because of course. And Brandon Woodruff. It doesn’t appear like any special guests are planned, but that’s a good guest list for the first virtual happy hour.

Not that I’ll be surprised to see Anderson drink a beer, but it’s like when you’re a kid and you see someone you know drink for the first time. I’ve often wondered if Anderson goes the Joe Buck route and cracks a beer before a broadcast sometimes. He couldn’t do that every game he announces, but maybe, a fun thing to do on Saturday night to add a layer of lubrication. I’m assuming Yount throws them back. As I noted with my Bruins post earlier today, this needs to be uncensored. I doubt the Brewers will allow that since they’re a mom and pop type organization. But that’s when the good stories come out and the good times start happening.
