Giannis’ Chasedown Blocks Give Me Life
Giannis Antetokounmpo still has ways to go before he can be mentioned in the same breath as LeBron James when it comes to elite players. Now, James is in a class of his own, so, Giannis falls under the elite category in the second tier. That said, he took over James’ role as being the chasedown block master. Antetokounmpo did it again on Tuesday night when he ran down Jaylen Brown for a vicious fourth quarter block that some asshole called goaltending. If that’s goaltending, I’m the Queen of England.

Best thing about this block is Giannis apparently yelled to his teammates not to foul because he knew that he had the angle. And Giannis definitely did making Brown think he had an easy layup when in reality, he did not. Brown found his own way to get baptized by the Church of Giannis. Next time, this happens pay attention to Antetokounmpo to see if he’s going to make a run at the ball. Usually, he does and when he connects, oh my god it’s glorious.
