Giannis & Coach Sean Sweeney Get Into Verbal Fight
Milwaukee Bucks may have hit a breaking point last night. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Milwaukee Bucks assistant coach Sean Sweeney got into a verbal argument on the sidelines in the third quarter where you can see Giannis saying ‘I’ll fuck you up’ to Sweeney. That’s not great. The Bucks assistant is the defensive mastermind for this team, and it appears that nothing he’s done in the past few weeks is working. Frustration is boiling over, and jobs should not be considered safe in the next coming month.

There’s no reason why Utah scored 120 points last night. Giannis is clearly pissed because Utah knows exactly what Milwaukee is going to do. Washington and Dallas knew this as well. The only reason Phoenix didn’t beat Milwaukee the same way is due to the Suns being more inept than anything on the Bucks coaching staff. Sweeney and by extension, Jason Kidd, refused to change their scheme in the past couple years, and teams figured out how to defend it. Will this be the guiding light to change things, or are the Bucks on a pathway to destruction?
They play Sacramento twice in three games, and I cannot stress how important it is to win both of those games. You cannot lose another game against a bottom-feeder in this league. If Milwaukee ends up losing both or one of these games, I could honestly see some sort of change happening with the Bucks coaches. This is a star-driven league. Coaches are pawns in the grand scheme of things, and if Kidd and Sweeney think they are more important to this team’s success than Giannis, they’re more fucking clueless than any of us think they are.
This week will be telling for Milwaukee’s professional basketball team.
