Giannis’ Coming To America Zoom Freaks are a Ten
The Nike marketing push of Giannis Antetokounmpo continues this summer. Yesterday, Nike added another Zoom Freak edition to the mix starting on August 2nd called the ‘Coming America’ edition in homage to 1988 classic ‘Coming to America’, one of the best comedies of all-time. Giannis paid tribute with a fake poster from the movie along with shoes that feature leopard print along with a yellow swoosh. ‘Coming to America’ is one of Giannis’ favorite movies, and it’s only right that they pay homage to it. These things are absolute fire flames. I’m not a shoe guy, but my goodness, I might need to get myself some shoes just for the hell of it.

Nike’s push for Giannis’ new shoes has been nothing short of impressive. It makes sense too. Antetokounmpo is the biggest star on the Nike roster since Kyrie Irving, and he’s bigger than him. Same goes with Paul George. Nike has not had good luck with NBA superstars since LeBron James. Steph Curry had a run with Under Armour then James Harden got his with Adidas. It is Nike’s time to shine, and they’re letting it all hang out. Hopefully, they’ll let our superstar come back to Milwaukee and spend some time working on his game soon.
