How Packers Can Bring Anthony Davis to Milwaukee
Anthony Davis is a noted Packers fan like Lil Wayne. I would not say his fandom is at the same level, but Davis is still a Packers fan nonetheless. He decided on his off day to kick it up at Lambeau Field for the Packers-Seahawks game with teammates Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Rajon Rondo. Davis came in with his Aaron Rodgers jersey on and hung out on the field before the game. Rodgers gave him an embrace before the game as well. Many Bucks fans including yours truly thought about how Green Bay could be the perfect chip in bringing Davis to Milwaukee.

The groundwork here is pretty simple. This isn’t a ‘Pepe Silva’ case here, rather, a guy who loves the Packers and could play in the same state. Davis is a free agent next year. The thought is that he will sign with the Los Angeles Lakers. Let’s all be real here for a second, the odds of that are very high. But, if the Bucks can figure out a way to get a meeting with The Brow, they might have a chance at him.
Here are the facts – Giannis and he are friends. There are not a lot of guys that Giannis likes in the league, Davis is one of them. He is a two-hour escorted drive up to Lambeau for any Packers game he wants for the next five years. He is 90 minutes away from his hometown Chicago. If the Lakers stink up the playoffs, maybe this becomes a real thing? Could you imagine Rodgers hanging out with Marc Lasry and Wes Edens trying to bring Davis to Milwaukee? That would be the absolute best.
Looking forward to The Jump talking about this today like they did with Giannis and the Warriors on Thursday!
