Jace Sternberger Fires Back in The Perfect Way
Jace Sternberger took a big hit on Monday in practice from Texans cornerback Lonnie Johnson Jr. He became the new enemy of the Packers fans and players. Sternberger did not practice yesterday as I believe they’re still evaluating him for a concussion. He did take some time to troll Johnson on Instagram Stories with a great picture of him delivering a punishing stiff-arm to Johnson and Kentucky.

In case you would like it in video form, I have that as well.
Against Kentucky last year, Jace Sternberger had 5 catches for 95 yards and a touchdown on this stiff-arm of Lonnie Johnson … but that's none of my business. pic.twitter.com/CHEDR9Y5ZZ

Johnson likely did not forget the fact Sternberger had a big stiff-arm against him that went for a touchdown plus 95 yards against a very good Kentucky Wildcats defense last season thus seeking his revenge. It was a cheap way to do it on the practice field. Texans sat out Johnson on Wednesday’s joint practice, and we’ll see if he gets to play in the first preseason game. I would assume so, but Bill O’Brien is a bit of a hardass. Who knows if we’ll see Sternberger, but if we do see both, it becomes the most exciting thing of Game 1 of the preseason.
