Markus Howard Passed Steph Curry Last Night In Buckets & Threes

Every time that Markus Howard scores a basket or two, he is passing someone else in college basketball. That comes with the territory at this point with Howard. He is wildly successful as a scorer, and even with the lack of tournament success (Barring this year, mind you), Howard should have his jersey hang from the rafters at Marquette University. Last night, he passed Steph Curry in two categories – Three-pointers made and overall points. Howard continues to work his way up the all-time scoring list. He made this 3-pointer to pass him then hit another three later to go ahead of him in that area too.
Markus Howard did this to pass Steph Curry for 30th on the all-time NCAA scoring list.

Will Howard be an NBA MVP like Curry? Probably not. But I do think he could find his way on an NBA roster next season. He might be too short which will lead to G-League stints, but the ability to light up the scoreboard is something to marvel at. My assumption is that a team will take a shot at him when the middle of the second round rolls around in June. Howard will play his final game in Milwaukee on Saturday afternoon against Seton Hall. Myles Powell versus Markus Howard is a great way for him to end his career. It should be an awesome basketball game.
