Mike Schildt & Yadier Molina Are Ignorant Little Children.
St. Louis Cardinals are playing multiple games in September. They’re playing 23 games in 18 days because they dealt with the COVID pandemic. Reports never got confirmed but it seemed the Cardinals went out to have a good time and didn’t take it too seriously. At one point, it looked like St. Louis might have to opt-out of the season. Fast forward to last night’s Brewers-Cardinals game. Brewers were absolutely shitpumping the Cardinals. After a catcher interference by Yadier Molina, the Cardinals catcher appeared to get hurt then when Cardinals manager Mike Schildt came out, a Brewers player or coach said something in the dugout. Schildt wanted to fight the Brewers after that and led to a non-COVID friendly shouting match. What the hell were these guys thinking?

First of all, Molina being a complete asshole is very normal and gets us more to that feeling of nature is healing. Second, how are we doing this with one of the champions of sports COVID? I’m not someone to mask shame. I don’t give a shit honestly. But when your team was on the frontline of things wrong with sports and COVID, you should probably wear a fucking mask when you’re on the baseball field. Schildt should be reprimanded without question. Molina should too. If a Brewer player said something to provoke it, they should probably also get a game or two.
We’ll see if this carries over to today.
