Mike Zimmer and the Vikings Start the Excuses Early
Mike Zimmer is already lining up some of the excuses of why Minnesota might not win on Sunday. We’re starting with the turf as being an issue. As someone who overthinks things all the fucking time, I can say with full confidence that Coach Zimmer is going through a classic overthink. Imagine being in the film room and watching guys slip for 30 minutes. Zimmer is obviously worried about the Vikings playing in the elements for the first time in a month. Consider this, Minnesota hasn’t played outdoors since December 23rd against Green Bay, so, it’s going to take some time to adjust to things like the turf. Now, it’s not going to be very cold in Philly as of now with temperatures expected in the low 50’s, but still, it’s different playing with wind and on natural grass.
Vikings-Eagles should be a doozy. We’ll talk more about on Daily Tap this weekend along with Jaguars-Patriots.
