No Neutral Site Needed For Badgers & Bama
College Football has great non-conference games every year. They’ve done a great job in the past 10 or 12 years of having premier games sprinkled all over the country for the first three weeks of the season. But usually, they’re at neutral sites. Instead of seeing Miami take on LSU in Death Valley, the game happened at JerryWorld. Wisconsin did this tour for a few years playing LSU and Alabama at neutral sites. They’ve decided to cut out in the middle man in 2024 and 2025 as Alabama will play Wisconsin in a true home-and-home. I cannot be more excited about this.

Now, some might say this could be fools gold because Alabama had a chance to head north against Michigan State in the mid-2010s. That did not happen. They canceled on those plans to play neutral site games. It appears that the Badgers are avoiding that happening by leaving the first week open, therefore, Alabama can still do their neutral site thing if they want in 2024 or 2025. I really hope that Nick Saban is still at Alabama when this is happening in a few years. He will be 72 or 73 at that time, and we all know these college football coaches don’t actually leave.
This will be one of the hottest tickets ever in Camp Randall history.
