No One Was Even Close to Be As Good As Giannis Antetokounmpo This Postseason
We all are aware that Giannis Antetokounmpo had an amazing postseason. It is hard to describe in superlatives because most of them have been used already. But we continue to see examples of what Giannis did this postseason that seem out of this world. Take example this chart from NBA Math. The chart is looking at players who have added the most offensive points combined with those who have saved the most points on defense. No one is even in the same stratosphere as Giannis. He is absolutely by himself in the top corner showing off his dominance throughout these playoffs.

It would not have happened if the Bucks somehow lost this series, but you could have made a case that no matter the result, Giannis deserved the NBA Finals MVP. Giannis played so well on both sides of the basketball. It’s another level for him, and things may be heading into overdrive with the young superstar. A couple other notes on that chart. I’m surprised Jrue Holiday isn’t more on the defensive side. P.J. Tucker being awesome on defense then doing nothing on offense is a hilarious view. I also enjoyed Trae Young being all offense and no defense because I’m petty like that.
