Packers Teammates & Media Refuse To Let Aaron Jones Get Canceled

Cancel culture is happening every day on social media. It is almost like a game show at this point to see how gets canceled. On Friday, Packers running back Aaron Jones was thrown into the canceled world. As Jones and his girlfriend awaited the birth of their first child, Jones’ girlfriend tweeted out a picture of Jones with his full video game set-up in the delivery room. In many ways, this is a hilarious image to look at. Naturally, Twitter didn’t feel that way. WNBA player Kelsey Plum tried to put Jones on blast for the image, but it did not work out well for her. Many came to Jones’ aid and for good reason too. One of the good guys in the NFL didn’t deserve to be canceled. Plum has since deleted the tweet.
Thats wild she told me to bring the game with me 😊but u know nothing about the whole process of having a child so til you experience it dont speak on me !!!! https://t.co/L5omONKMAT

Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard quickly made sure Plum knew what type of teammate Jones is and who is as a person.
Aaron is the epitome of being thoughtful. People don’t even know the details of how long and when he was playing. Either way Crystal clearly didn’t care since she posted it, so why does it bother you?. People are so quick to judge before they even know the situation.

There were multiple examples from Packers media about how the delivery room is typically a boring process and they did different things while they waited for their child to come. Jones deserves an apology from Plum, but he is not getting it. Instead of owning her fuck up, she deleted the tweet. That’s okay. Jones has the back of his guys on the field and the media respects him enough to come to his side. That is a pretty good one-two combo.
Charlie.
