Preparing Myself to Hate Kirk Cousins in a Week
Kirk Cousins appears to be Minnesota-bound. The free agent quarterback could be a Minnesota Viking by next week. I wish I would have took the Vegas odds on this because they were pretty nice a few weeks ago. All reports indicate that Cousins could land with the Vikings, and the team will try to figure out how they keep a star-studded defense around with him a mega contract. This is a major power play in the NFC North as Minnesota goes all-in for a chance at a Super Bowl. As someone who loved Cousins in Washington, I have no choice but to hate his guts now. That’s the rules.
I do think you can like players from other teams inside the division. Fantasy football and DraftKings allow that sort of thing to happen. But the quarterback is the one that usually leaves himself opening to clown. Look at Matt Stafford, he has a petty wife who takes veiled shots at Aaron Rodgers, and they have a weird complex about the Packers. We’ll find a reason to hate Cousins. Also too, I have to stop acting like he’s going to be great for this team. As a Packers fan, we need to let our nuts hang a little bit especially in times like this because Aaron Rodgers still ions the player Cousins is at quarterback.
I’d like to thank Producer Murph, Seth and Brett who have all given me the confidence to know Cousins will not have a great impact on the Vikings. Recently, I’ve hated how much people on Milwaukee sports radio are acting like the sky is falling with every fucking thing. That’s what’s driving me crazy at this point with the overall thoughts of a fan thinking the complete worst thing about a Milwaukee or Wisconsin sports team. The Packers Pinhead Nation will already be placing the Vikings in the Super Bowl with one move to get Cousins to the Twin Cities. That shit will piss me off that I’ll go from worrying about Cousins to thinking he’s going to be a Titanic failure.
One side will be right, let’s hope it’s me.
