Radford Ignites the March Madness Fire
Hello, March Madness, good to see you again. Big South Championship happened earlier today pitting a matchup between Radford and Liberty. Both teams likely playing for a 15 or 16 seed in the tournament, but regardless, both teams brought the noise. I always love when they do the championship final at the home gym of the highest seed. That makes things exponentially more fun. Add in Radford’s freshman Carlik Jones hits a game-winner with no time remaining.
Radford goes to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2009 which adds to the fun.

Always cool to see teams get into the tourney for the first time in a long while. Not many fun facts about Radford as a university besides being a public college in Virginia. They’ve been to the tourney twice as a 16 seed losing to Duke and North Carolina. Most notable alumnus…. Frank Beamer. There are your fun Radford facts to impress your friends.
