Rodgers & Favre Talking Once a Week Makes Me Happy
Aaron Rodgers appeared on Pat McAfee’s newest version of the ‘Pat McAfee Show’ yesterday. Rodgers and McAfee are close friends and had a great conversation about what’s going on right now with the Green Bay Packers. There were many great things to take away from that interview, but the one thing that truly stood out was Rodgers revealing that former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre and he talk once a week. That is amazing nugget from Rodgers considering how the relationship started with these two players.

These guys did not like each other when they started in Green Bay. The relationship was rocky and didn’t end on great terms. In the last few years, there has been reconciliation with both players. There was supposed to be a video or a web series of Rodgers spending time on Favre’s ranch that never got off the ground. These guys are legitimately friends, and that’s a good thing for all parties. Rodgers seeking out advice from Favre who went through some similar shit at his older age is a positive way to do things. Further, Rodgers can bounce ideas or things off him that will be safe to talk about where he will understand because Favre played the position.
Favre will be in Green Bay this weekend doing a signing somewhere on Saturday night. It will great to see Favre in the building on Sunday honoring Bart Starr cheering his ass off for the Packers.
