Ryan Braun Hot Streaks are Just The Best
Like most Sundays, your boy did not deliver a BrewCap in a proper time. Brewers played a classic yesterday winning in 18 innings, 4-3. They came back from being down 3-2 in the 18th. It had a familiar feeling like the Pittsburgh game last season where Milwaukee won in 15 innings. Ryan Braun was the difference maker for the second straight game. My dad said last night to me through text ‘Braun 2 Mets 0.’ He is red hot and when he’s on a hot streak, it is just fucking great. I love a hot Ryan Braun bat. Maybe it’s the nostalgia in me. Maybe it’s Braun is one of my favorite Wisconsin athletes of all-time. Part of me has always thought he could have one more massive year.

In the last three games, Braun has eleven hits in his last 16 at-bats. That’s fucking crazy and in the zone. He now carries a .267 average. Earlier this week, he had an average of .194. What a monster this guy has been for the team in the past few days. Brewers needed this from somebody with Christian Yelich dealing with a balky back. Good news is Yelich returned to lineup on Sunday afternoon, and Braun will try to keep it up versus Jason Vargas. Who knows how long this will go for the superstar.
