Sammy Watkins Shouts Out Davante Adams For His Big Catch
Sammy Watkins is a bit of a forgotten man for Kansas City. That is crazy to think about. Watkins is probably a number two option on most teams in the NFL. Watkins is the number three in Kansas City. He had his Super Bowl moment though. In the fourth quarter as the Kansas City Chiefs are trailing by three points, Patrick Mahomes found Watkins deep for 38 yards to set up first and goal on the 10 yards. The Kansas City receiver burned Richard Sherman deep (Hate to see it) for the play. And after the game, Watkins talked about how Davante Adams showed him how to do it last week.

First of all, this has to be cool for Adams. We all here in Wisconsin know that Adams is one of the best receivers of the game. And I think his peers know that too. Adams unlocked the ability to how to burn Sherman. Second, what a way to ride out a season for Watkins. He had 98 yards in the Super Bowl then 114 and 76 yards in the other playoff games. He talked about potentially chilling out next season, but if he wants to stay in the Midwest and head a little north, I know a team.
