Should Brewers Be Trolling The Marlins on Social Media?
Yesterday, I saw a tweet from the Milwaukee Brewers where they went through the bobblehead museum at the Marlins Stadium then show a picture of the Yelich MVP bobblehead asking if they would like one. It’s pictured below. This led to an onslaught of Marlins fans reigning down in the Brewers mentions asking about how many World Series the Brewers have won and when is the last time they got there. Also, add to the fact that Miami, a team that is now 41 games under .500, beat the living daylights of out of the Brewers earlier this year. It’s not a great look. I like playful banter, and I’m sure both social heads are close yet it feels off the mark.

Before you say that you’re surprised that there are Marlins fans on social media, I’d advise you against it. Why? Well, the doormat franchises in sports still have fans. A few years ago, my favorite Twitter thing would be when someone said the “Jags didn’t have fans” then Jags Twitter jumped all down their throats. It was awesome. I’m sure they’re a Marlins Twitter that relives the days of Cliff Floyd, Josh Beckett, Antonio Alfonseca and many more great Marlins. Next time the Brewers troll, let’s hope the mentions don’t fill up with championship trophies.
