Sign Me Up: Lakefront Brewery Is Offering a Romantic Dinner Inside Bernie Brewer’s Chalet
Before Miller Park, Bernie Brewer was a bit of a wild child. What do I mean by that? Well, Bernie had a chalet similar to the one he has right now at Miller Park, but that chalet had a mug of beer attached to it. When Brewers hit a home run, Bernie slid into that mug of beer. It was awesome and something everyone talked about. Then when Miller Park happened, the PR team at the Brewers or somewhere else thought it would be better since Bernie is a kids’ attraction for him to not slide into beer. While understandable, it was still disappointing. Now, you can experience Bernie’s old chalet at Lakefront Brewery where the mug and chalet are housed. This sounds like a great date nate.
We are now taking reservations for a Date Night in Bernie’s Chalet. Enjoy a romantic meal for 2 in Bernie Brewer’s original chalet overlooking our fermentation cellar. Reservations are 90 minutes and include a flight of beer and a heart-shaped dessert pretzel. Additional beer and food can be ordered from your server. A perfect way to celebrate any special occasion with a loved one in the privacy of your own space.
Bad news is the reservations are filled up for the month of October and November. It looks like December might be open, but unsure the folks at Lakefront have planned that far in advance. But it’s something to definitely keep ane eye on moving forward. Given Wisconsin’s struggles with the pandemic, maybe it’s a good thing to wait until December (For the record, I have no problem with Lakefront promoting this as they note safety precautions are in place). There is a required 65 dollar spend when you enter the chalet, which I get, and is honestly reasonable. Most nights out cost around 65 to 75 dollars on an inexpensive night, so not a big deal there.
