SLAM Magazine Believes Miami Is The Top East Contender With Iguodala
Twitter is a weird place. You know that I know that. Do I spend too much time there? Yes. Sometimes, do two things happen and while they seem similar, it’s completely different? Yes and let me explain. Earlier in the day, I saw some Bucks fan getting upset about ESPN covering Zion over Giannis. To me, that’s foolish. The digital marketing numbers on Zion are through the roof, and of course, ESPN will feature him prominently. But then, SLAM Magazine tweeted out that the Miami Heat is the best, yes the best, the team in the Eastern Conference with the addition of Andre Igoudala. Now that my friends, you can get mad at it. You should want to never follow or buy anything related to SLAM again. That’s how ridiculous this comment is.

This is utter bullshit. The disrespect for the Bucks is so real. Miami got their asses handed to them by Los Angeles Clippers last night, a team the Bucks beat twice already this season. Please tell me who is Miami’s second scorer when they need it the most? For some, that was the big deal with Khris Middleton and the importance of needing that second or third guy. I love Tyler Herro, but do you think he can be that guy? Or Bam Adebayo? Get the fuck out of my face with talk like that.
Iguodala coming to Eastern Conference is good. He runs his mouth about Giannis Antetokounmpo. And it’s about time that he gets a helping of what Giannis can do to him on the floor. Miami made a good addition to getting Iguodala but he is a 36-year-old veteran who hasn’t played since June. He isn’t going to add that much to a team. Settle down, SLAM.
