SnotapWI Stat of the Day: Aaron Rodgers’ Insane Passer Rating Stats

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is having an MVP season. You know that. I know that. But sometimes, there are stats that drive home the point of why Rodgers will win the award. Take the passer rating stats from this year. For those unfamiliar, passer rating takes a quarterback’s pass attempts, completions, yards, touchdowns, and interceptions. The higher the better with the top being 158.3. The Packers quarterback has done something that no other quarterback in football has ever done. It shows how good he has been for the entire year.

Passer rating is not a fugazi stat either. It’s not like QBR or something that was made up. Passer rating gets into the good and bad of a quarterback. Rodgers nearly had the highest passer rating of any quarterback in NFL history this season. He finished with a total of 121.6 this season. The Packers superstar did not break his own record of 122 which he did in 2011. There is not a more efficient quarterback in football right now. When Rodgers is almost above elite, it is when the passer rating is regularly in the hundreds.
