SnotapWI Stat of the Day: Packers-Seahawks Rivalry Opts Out in 2020

Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks are one of the biggest rivalries in the National Football League. The games always deliver no matter the location. And it always seems to be one-sided with the home team. There was some thought that these two teams could get together in the NFC Championship, but that will not be happening. With the Los Angeles Rams beating Seattle, this means for the first time since 2013, the Packers and Seahawks are not playing each other. That’s incredible. Credit to the Packers’ Reddit
I don’t get why Packers fans are scared of the Seahawks. I get that 2014 lingers in everyone’s head. Bill Barnwell of ESPN had a stat that only four quarterbacks had thrown three interceptions in the first half after the Browns-Steelers debacle with Ben Roethlisberger. The only quarterback who won their game after throwing three picks in the first half was Russell Wilson in 2014 against the Packers. The real worry is when Green Bay goes to Seattle. They haven’t won in Seattle since 2008. Charlie Frye was the quarterback for the Seahawks, shouts to Akron!
Don’t worry for those who love this rivalry. They’ll be back at it again next year. Green Bay will be hosting Seattle at Lambeau Field again. Wilson hates Lambeau Field more than he hates premarital sex. Expect that to be some sort of primetime game next year and hopefully with fans.
Charlie.
