Spencer Dinwiddie’s Giannis’ COVID Hyptohetical is Very Very Strange
It is pretty well-known in the league that Giannis Antetokounmpo doesn’t have many friends in the NBA. And if we’re being honest, Giannis probably wants it that way. Giannis doesn’t want to be friends with his competitors. And it drives these guys’ wild. He also isn’t tight with James Harden, LeBron James, or anyone else. After the game on Saturday, Brooklyn Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie created this bizarre hypothetical where he is basically wishing COVID on Giannis and blames Marvel’s new ‘What if’ series on his thought process. But why even go there? What is the actual point here?
Just thought of an interesting “What if?”
(Maybe @Marvel inspired me)

I don’t need people to like Giannis. Who gives a fucking shit. Of course, they’re not going to tweet out a bunch of nice things about Giannis. No one is sitting courtside to watch Antetokounmpo that plays in the league. But to ask a question about ruling Giannis out for COVID of all things which can be serious for some people is absolute lunacy. And the fact that he didn’t apologize and blamed Marvel is pathetic too. He should be embarrassed and I’m excited for when Giannis dunks on him next season.
