Tom Izzo Sounds Like a Complete Child With NCAA Ruling
Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo probably does not get told ‘no’ often. He runs things at Michigan State. Dude is the grand puma of the athletic program. He has seven Final Fours and a national championship, so, there’s no reason why he wouldn’t be seen in high regard. This Michigan State is likely one of his best in recent memory. He hoped to have former Marquette freshman Joey Hauser be a part of it. Instead, the NCAA denied Hauser’s right to play this year and Izzo went off the handle like a child throwing a temper tantrum when he didn’t get his way.
Tom Izzo is done working with the college basketball establishment after receiving the final ruling on Joey Hauser.

Of course, Izzo being a popular guy in the media gets all the credit in the world for sticking up to the NCAA. But in reality, why should Hauser get to play? He didn’t have a coaching change cause him to leave. There isn’t a family reason why he should be at Michigan State. He is there to amend a mistake he made after his senior year realizing he didn’t have to play with his big brother at Marquette. For Izzo to pout about a mistake like that is fucking ridiculous and childish.
I can agree with Izzo that things are a complete mess, but if he wanted to actually make a legitimate impact, why not include comments about Micah Potter from Wisconsin? The fact that Izzo is on his high horse about Hauser while Potter gets screwed a state away looks really bad. Wisconsin Badgers head coach Greg Gard is saying similar things. But the difference is Gard has a point with his kid. Izzo does not. If you compare the two, the Michigan State legend looks like a fucking clown.
