Trent Grisham Has His Major League Moment
There is a phrase in Major League Baseball called ‘Welcome to the Show’. It focuses on the moment where a player seems to be engrained into the big leagues, and a moment they’ll likely remember forever. Trent Grisham had that moment yesterday. In the eighth inning with the Milwaukee Brewers down two runs, Grisham stood at the play facing Sergio Romo, one of the better closers of the last 20 years. He crushed a ball to right field and gave Milwaukee a 6-5 lead. That ended up being the final of yesterday’s hard-fought battle with the Minnesota Twins.

It is clear that Grisham deserves every day playing time for the Brewers. It is a hard conversation to have but he should be platooning with Lorenzo Cain. Now, I know Cain is an excellent defensive outfield and you can always move Grisham to left field with Ryan Braun coming out of the game usually in the sixth inning. He is batting .314 in eleven games with eleven hits and two home runs. He will remember his first dinger at Miller Park. You know who also had their first dinger against the Twins at The Keg?
