Trevor Hoffman Coming Out to Hells Bells was ELECTRIC
Milwaukee Brewers had three legends of their team go into the Milwaukee Brewers’ Wall of Fame. Rickie Weeks, J.J. Hardy and Trevor Hoffman were all inducted yesterday. For me, this is a clear sign of me getting fucking old. I can remember the day when Weeks got called up and the excitement around him. Hardy was the heartthrob of the Brewers team while growing up as a kid. Hoffman joined the team in 2009 and was an amazing leader in the Brewers clubhouse. As you know, the Hall of Famer came out to Hells Bells every save situation. Well, they did it for him last night before he came out to throw out the first pitch. It still fucking plays, man.

Hoffman had an amazing year for the Brewers in 2009. That is one of his better years as a pitcher at age 41. He only allowed 35 hits all year which was the lowest total for a full season. Same with only allowing eleven total runs all season. Adding to the accolades, Trevor only allowed two home runs all season. People do conveniently forget how bad he was in 2010, and Ken Macha let him be closer for far too long. That team had a decent amount of expectations only to be 10 games under .500. But I will not shit on his parade. 2009 was great and we can all forget about 2010.
