Upper Peninsula is NOT Happy to Be Part of Wisconsin
Mountain Dew is running a campaign featuring the 50 states on Mountain Dew bottles. I’m confident there is some sort of contest that goes along with it. I’m a habitual Dt. Dew drinker and someone who gets bottles of Dew when they go places like the grocery stores, I’ve noticed the campaign already. In fact, I grabbed a Minnesota bottle earlier this week only to put it away for a Wisconsin. Not everyone is happy about this campaign. Mountain Dew made the Upper Peninsula part of Wisconsin which is not the case. It’s part of Michigan, and boy, were they upset about it.
I 👏 AM 👏 NOT 👏 WISCONSIN 👏
Fix this, or send a free case to all my residents. Your call.

Mountain Dew found a way to make this right, and it appears they’re going to send out special bottles with Upper Peninsula on it. I’ve never been to the UP, but I do think it’s weird its part of Michigan. Like we would never go to war with each other again (Or so I hope), but if we did, I fully would expect the Wisconsin army to try and take over the UP. It’s a logical choice. But the UP has to go and be all sort about being part of Wisconsin. We didn’t need you anyway, UP.
