Vikings’ Kirk Cousins TikTok Challenge Goes Horribly Wrong

TikTok is all the rage in 2020. Most people have made a TikTok account to watch videos, or they have became a TikTok’er this year. It is no surprise that NFL teams are trying to get involved with it. Minnesota Vikings wanted to do a TikTok where fans ‘caught a pass from Kirk Cousins. The idea is actually good in theory. Cousins launches a pass in the Vikings’ TikTok then the person in the other video catches the ball. Except for the fact that Vikings fans or non-Vikings fans decided to troll Cousins and the team by making them complete overthrows. This is very Vikings and absolutely hilarious.
The Vikings started a new Tik Tok challenge asking fans to duet themselves catching passes from Kirk Cousins.

This is an all-time backfire. I feel bad for the social media person who might have to answer to Kirk Cousins. He definitely sent out a ‘What the fuck’ text to someone yesterday. The other thing is these are only going to get more popular. If one person goes viral on TikTok then that means everyone else will try to go viral too. If I wasn’t worried about TikTok being an arm for the Chinese government, I would try my own version too. But alas, it is not on my phone.
