Welcome To Aaron Rodgers’ Twitter Likes SZN

It is like clockwork. Every year, we see this from the Green Bay Packers quarterback. Rodgers does not usually let his mouth do the talking in the offseason. Usually, it is with his fingers. Every year recently, we see a couple of Twitter likes that pop up from Rodgers. It is to advocate for a player to come to Green Bay. Often, it is to advocate a return to the Packers. Or a signing that he is happy about. Even in non-Corona times, Packers journalists went six to midnight whenever Rodgers liked something about related to an offseason move. Add Corona in, and it’s a full-blown explosion.
Looks like his former QB surely agrees.

I never understand why this is a big deal, but it is every time Rodgers likes a tweet about a potential return. We saw this with Jordy Nelson a couple of years ago. People overreacted to that one too. The trope from journalists and sports radio people is ‘OMG RODGERS WANTS MATTHEWS BACK!’ But in reality, Rodgers just wants his buddies back on the team. Could you blame him? Everyone wants the co-workers they like back on the job. Additionally, Rodgers is an old man in football terms. He wants other old guys around. Why do you think he likes Marcedes Lewis?
Doubt that Matthews will be back with the Packers but you never know
Charlie.
