What to Watch For The Packers in Night Two of NFL Draft

At some point, people will have to move on from the Jordan Love selection. It is not the only draft pick that Green Bay will make in this draft. They still have two picks tonight. Then six picks on Saturday. Packers have a bevy of sixth and seventh-round picks. Green Bay can still make some serious moves tonight. What could happen this evening for the Packers? There are many ways this draft to go with guys that the Packers could have interest in.
Players left for Friday night include D’Andre Swift, J.K. Dobbins, Jonathan Taylor, Cam Akers, Michael Pittman Jr., Tee Higgins, Cole Kmet, Ezra Cleveland, Ross Blacklock, AJ Epensa, Yetur Gross-Matos, Zack Baun, Trevon Diggs, Xavier McKinney, Grant Delpit, Antoine Winfield Jr.

There is a great list of players that the Packers could take in Round 2. It is likely that they will try and fix some of their issues either on defense or offense. The question is will any of the ones listed above fall all the way to the Green Bay Packers or will Green Bay need to move up again to make a selection in the second round? It is much easier to move up in Round 2 than it is in Round 1. Green Bay still has holes they need to shore up. Wide receiver, middle linebacker are the two biggest ones. Cornerback and offensive line are likely the second tiers.
It is not a must that Green Bay drafts a wide receiver. But if the Packers pass again on a receiver, they must know something that we do not. To pass up on a top-tier receiving class through the first two rounds would make very little sense to me. But I do think one of the names we’ve heard will be there at 62. Whether it’s Laviska Shenault, Michael Pittman Jr, Denzel Mims, or Tee Higgins, the Packers should have one available at 62. But then again, I felt that way about the guys in Round 1.
Here’s to a less crazy night two.
