Which Players Do Bucks Target For Their New-Look Bench Mob?
As you all know, the Milwaukee Bucks made two major moves last night. Jrue Holiday and Bogdan Bogdanovic are now part of the Milwaukee Bucks. In doing this, Milwaukee drained their bench and their draft picks. The revered bench mob is no longer a thing, and Milwaukee will look to rebuild their bench with veteran minimums. The Bucks’ cap situation is messier than the first few seasons of Jersey Shore. Good luck figuring out how this is going to all work with the hard cap. There are going to be many veterans chasing rings that will want to join the ride with Milwaukee. Kane Pittman of Locked On Bucks put together a great list earlier today which Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Matt Velazquez followed up with some. . Let’s go through it and take a spin on guys of interest.
Some possible names (outside of Wes who should be priority one):
Milwaukee will be an attractive spot. https://t.co/87UyIpxmvp

Paul Millsap: Consider me interested in him. He played for Mike Budenholzer. Excellent bench player. Physical. He hasn’t been exactly good in the playoffs, but a leader that would add to the Bucks bench.
DJ Augustin: This might sound obscure, but Augustin could be a chunkier George Hill off the bench. He is a pretty good shooter. Been in the playoffs a bit. Good point guard to keep the bench mob together. Probably one of my top guys.
Justin Holiday: Jrue’s younger brother. Milwaukee ran this play with the Lopez brothers. The Holiday brothers are very close. Justin is a nice young talent. He is an underrated player that could play multiple positions, shoot a little bit and play a bunch of defense. Winning a title with your brother has to be attractive.
Jeff Teague: Another former Bud guy and a former Mitch Ross Favorite. Don’t sleep on the MRF’s. Not entirely interested in Teague. He can be a microwave off the bench, but Jeff Teague hasn’t seen a shot Jeff Teague doesn’t like.
Morris brothers: Hell to Nah, hell to Nah Nah. I truly want no part of either guy. Both of them are mental midgets late in games. They get bad technicals, no thanks.
Courtney Lee: Good outside shooter, but he has barely played in the last few years due to injuries. I’m not interested in that.
Mo Harkless: Great defender, but he is not going to give you much offensively. I’m alright with this but not my first choice.
Alec Burks: Another guy that might fly under the radar but he has shot over 40% last season from three. Now was it an aberration or legit? He is a putrid defender. I’m going to pass.
Carmelo Anthony/Rajon Rondo: Bunching these two together because it would be fucking wild to see either player join Milwaukee. It doesn’t feel like either would want to live in Milwaukee’s winters, but who the hell knows.
There are other guys that are not mentioned here who will probably be in the mix. There will be a ton of rumors that likely fly around. Now comes the part with the veterans who want a ring start floating out there that they want to play with Giannis and the Bucks.
