Yes, It Was Weird Seeing Randall Cobb as a Cowboy
Sports are a business. You know that I know that. because of that, we see players we love and cheer for end up in other colors. A guy who used to write for us once time discussed being a fan is like cheering for laundry which is cynical but it’s right. Randall Cobb and Clay Matthews started the second part of their careers on Sunday afternoon. Clay in Carolina playing for the Los Angeles Rams, and Cobb playing for the Dallas Cowboys. They both had victories with their new teams, but Cobb was the one that really stood out to every Packers fans watching the national game against the New York Giants. Seeing Cobb in another team’s uniform was very weird and something that will take some time. He made a big boy play versus the Giants yesterday.

Cobb finished the game with four catches with 69 yards (nice.) and a touchdown. I promise you that I’m not trying to be a hater. I’m really not because I like Cobb a lot but peep his game logs from the last two years. Cobb had a monster week one in 2018 and 2017 then things trailed off from there. I’m not sure if that’s due to him getting banged up or Aaron Rodgers/Mike McCarthy didn’t use him properly. Hope the best for Cobb except for Week 5 when he’s playing the Green Bay Packers which will be extra weird.
