Aaron Rodgers Joins The Tony Brown Fan Club
You rarely see offensive players praise defensive players in training camp. The same goes for defense to offense. In many ways, the defense or the offense is your only opposition for a couple of weeks. Aaron Rodgers met with the media yesterday and discussed how much he enjoys Tony Brown. Rodgers had many great things to say about the second-year man from Alabama. You are definitely making an impression when the franchise quarterback notices the way you’re bringing it daily.

Brown’s camp is one of the better ones for the Green Bay Packers. I’ve gone from being in Brown’s corner to believing he could be the starter Week 1 against the Chicago Bears with Jaire Alexander. Brown is pushing for that starting spot right now. Kevin King does have the ability to be a starter, but he cannot stay on the field. This is not a given spot for King. I like him as a player, more than most actually, but if you’re not going to practice due to injury and a guy is outperforming you then he deserves your spot. That’s how it goes in football. If anything, it should motivate King to get back out on the practice field.
We’ll see if Brown can make his way all the way to a starter on the depth chart. He has the support of the quarterback, and usually, that’s a good sign. Rodgers shows time and again that he’s a good talent evaluator even if that’s not his full-time job. Hope Brown keeps bringing it for the second part of Training Camp. With the Rodgers endorsement, you can expect more people to get on his bandwagon. I’m already there with him.
