Acuity American Flag Gets Ripped To Shreds Via Vicious Thunderstorms

Do you ever take certain long drives and know landmarks that are always there for you? I made the drive up and down highway 43 in Wisconsin more times than I count. It is the highway up to Green Bay. Whether it is going to Packers games or when I worked for Associated Bank, 43 was my highway of course. About halfway through the drive, you see the large Acuity American flag. It is a great sign that we’re halfway there, and I feel a great deal of patriotism when I saw it. Tonight, the flag got torn apart due to a thunderstorm that hit the state of Wisconsin. It made me sadder than I thought it would.
Holy shit. https://t.co/eoxJUwHvbo

I tried to wonder why I was sad, and I think it summed up everything we’re going through right now. There are many people in this country that believe the flag doesn’t represent them. That breaks my heart. I love this country. I’m happy to be an American and have the pride to be one. More than ever before, I realize that isn’t the case for all people. And for the first time, I’m starting to see why. We need to get to a point where everyone feels sadness over a flag getting torn apart from a thunderstorm. Or people stop others from burning the American flag. If a majority of us carry that pride, it will be a beautiful thing to see.
Hope Acuity has a backup flag ready and raring to go.
Charlie.
