Bucks Fans Fill Up The Deer District for Playoff Parties
Milwaukee Bucks had a vision when they built the new arena. They wanted to have a state-of-the-art arena that people wanted to come visit and that had a great basketball team in it. But they also knew that to build a great atmosphere, they had to include things around the stadium to amplify the feeling of being there when the Bucks were on the road. Take the Bucks block parties the last two playoff nights in the newly named Deer District. The crowds are packed to the brim with everyone having a great time. Fans chanting things like ‘We want Boston’ and going rowdy over the playoff sweep. It feels like a mission accomplished moment for the Bucks ownership. (Photo credit @ScottGrodsky)

Part of me regrets not going down there for one of the Pistons games only because I’m not sure my heart could handle being with all those people in a closely fought playoff game. Maybe if the Bucks get up 3-1 against Boston or something like that. The scenes from last night made this look like the place to watch Bucks games for the rest of the postseason. As the weather gets warmer, things are only going to keep growing as Milwaukee is making great strides to make this feel like playoff atmosphere even when the Bucks are not home.
Fear The Deer and bring on Boston.
